After beginning my HR career in the Hospitality Industry nearly 10 years ago, I was given an opportunity by Brick Lane to pivot industries, and quickly transition my HR experience into the Real Estate and Multifamily Property Management sector. By utilizing my transferrable skillset, I have been able to effectively launch my career and grow between industries. I have proven my ability to counsel and manage a team through internal initiatives, policy compliance and all aspects of employee relations and operations.

Since joining Brick Lane as the VP of Human Resources and Operations, the responsibilities I have taken on have been many. I have taken a leadership approach to handling employee relations to include staffing, harassment, insubordination, retaliation, terminations, employee interpersonal conflict and resolution. I’ve partnered strategically with executive leadership to ensure compliance, restructuring and risk mitigation. Collaborated with many departments on digital software transformations and creation of standard operating procedures and policies, and many more. My reputation as a high-energy, autonomous self-starter, as well as an educated leader accustomed to handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, is a testament to the dedication with which I approach my work.

Advocating for employees in wellness incentives, policy implementation, diversity and inclusion, workplace relations and compensation, while being able to enforce policy, compliance and protocols is a critical balance that I believe I have mastered. Outside of the workplace, I take on an active role in supporting and raising awareness at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. I am passionate about health and wellness, so being able to live an active life while giving back to the community is something I hold near to my heart.
