Craig barry

Craig Barry has spent over 16+ years in the commercial real estate industry, spanning accounting, leasing, property management and development of all product types including retail, office and multi-family. Craig is the Chief Financial Officer of Brick Lane and is in charge of all aspects of accounting and finance for the company and its projects.

Prior to joining Brick Lane in 2016, Craig served as Controller at Clark Realty Capital (CRC) and led a team responsible for accounting and property reporting in the property management division. At CRC, Craig managed a complex portfolio ranging from assets that include over 2,000 LIHTC units in multiple jurisdictions to newly built luxury apartments in the heart of Arlington.

Prior to CRC, Craig was a Senior Project Accountant with Penzance where he worked on several DC area development projects, including the redevelopment of the Watergate Hotel. He also served as a Senior Project Accountant at Vornado/Charles E. Smith where he managed the accounting of eight properties and worked on behalf of a major German fund with complex reporting requirements, including both GAAP and IFRS basis reporting.

Craig got his start in the real estate industry working in the commercial-retail branch of Madison Marquette, helping with the management and repositioning of several mixed-use assets and working first hand on the accounting and lease administration of REIT-owned property.

Craig is a Certified Public Accountant and received his MBA from the UMD Smith School of Business. He was born in the Boston area and graduated from Bentley University in 2003.  Recently, he and his wife joyfully welcomed their first child, George.
