Erik Kudla
Erik Kudla has worked on over $15 billion of closed real estate finance transactions in his career, which has spanned nearly all sides of the real estate field, including development, investment banking, private equity acquisitions, asset management, and distressed loan sales. He has also managed several billion dollars more in assets across the multi-family, office, industrial, hotel, and senior housing sectors.
Prior to starting Brick Lane, Erik worked for two years in the National Loan Sale Advisory Group at CB Richard Ellis, participating in the sale and marketing of commercial real estate loans on the secondary market. Prior to joining CBRE, Erik spent two years in the Loan Workout group at CWCapital Asset Management where he valued, restructured, foreclosed on and disposed of a distressed CMBS asset portfolio of over $1 billion. Prior to joining CWCapital, Erik worked at JER Partners in McLean, Virginia, on real estate acquisitions and asset management in the Fund Investment Management Group. Prior to JER Partners, Erik worked at Deutsche Bank Securities in New York in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group.
Erik graduated from Princeton University. He was born in Washington, DC and is a member of the DC Preservation League.
